Why CrossFit Rohnert Park?
Crossfit Rohnert Park’s unique history set the stage for a community oriented and supportive atmosphere that has inspired many students to become strong, confident athletes.
In the year 2000, Herb Cody Jr. bought the gym from his father who at the time, was primarily focused on Kempo Karate. Upon opening the new gym, Herb presented concepts from Krav Maga, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu that eventually led to his own approach towards martial arts with an emphasis on self-defense and kickboxing. Herb was introduced to CrossFit in 2007, which proved to be an effective and supportive fitness regimen for his self-defense students. Over the course of a few years, the CrossFit program gained popularity and has now become a major focus point for the gym.
CrossFit Rohnert Park Invites athletes of all levels to join either our self-defense or CrossFit program, or both!
